Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take the lead on steel erection projects from start to finish. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your leadership will be critical in managing stakeholders, coordinating teams, and utilizing your deep knowledge of steel erection processes to drive success.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead all stages of project execution, from planning through to completion, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
Collaboration: Work closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Planning & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and allocate resources efficiently to ensure seamless project flow.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks early on and implement effective strategies to mitigate them, ensuring projects stay on track.
Quality & Safety: Oversee all quality control processes and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry standards.
Reporting & Financial Tracking: Monitor project progress, provide financial tracking, and deliver regular reports to stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Motivate and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving project goals.
Contract Management: Review contracts, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance with all contractual agreements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of project management experience in structural steel or related construction.
Expertise: Proven ability to manage steel erection or heavy construction projects with a strong understanding of the processes, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, etc.).
Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Environment: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent projects.
