Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical product development.
SolidWorks proficiency is essential.
A demonstrated ability to manage projects through all phases of design, testing, and manufacturing, particularly within the electronics field
Experience with machine shop tools (mills, lathes) is beneficial; familiarity with programming equipment is a bonus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to collaborate across departments.
Adept at problem-solving and working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales and product management to design and develop new products tailored to customer specifications.
Create and revise engineering drawings to support new product launches and current product updates.
Lead the engineering change process from initial design to full implementation.
Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Routers for new parts; update as necessary for existing components.
Partner with process engineers to ensure a seamless transition from product design to production.
Participate in the development of testing and validation processes to guarantee successful product launches.
Work closely with the prototype lab to create prototypes and facilitate customer approvals.
Engage with cross-functional teams-engineering, production, and quality-to drive continuous improvement and engineering changes.
Design and develop tools, fixtures, and other essential components to support manufacturing processes.
