Ensuring the synchronization, communication, and business relationship of portfolio strategies from the Strategic Portfolio Committee and their translation across Agile Release Trains (ARTs). They facilitate the deconstruction process of Epics, the largest and most important initiatives, from the portfolio Kanban through further definition, prioritization, and impact assessment to the value streams.
Essential Functions
Identifies and communicates priorities and dependencies across ARTs and the broader business community.
Ensures that business priorities are visible, established, and communicated to optimize efficiency.
Facilitates regular cross-ART meetings to ensure communication of prioritization, alignment of dependencies, identification of risks, and forecasting of business value delivery
Facilitates ad-hoc workshops, meetings, ceremonies, etc., to remove barriers, improve collaboration, mitigate risk, and ensure information flow between the Portfolio, ARTs, and stakeholders
Maintains preference for action over inaction when faced with incomplete knowledge or limited data sets.
Updates, tracking, and communicating the status of initiatives through the Kanban phases and monitoring the timing of release milestones.
Builds and maintains relationships with Cross-OpCo stakeholders at all levels to coordinate and standardize metrics presented to the Portfolio Executive Leadership, ARTs, and other governing bodies
Creates and maintains desk procedures for recurring job duties.
Researches and recommends process improvements, technological solutions, etc., in collaboration with the Agile Enablement Office, Portfolio Review Team, Cross-Opco representatives, and third-party solution providers
Assist the Manager - Portfolio Execution Office with issues and escalating to Epic Owners or executive leadership as needed to facilitate release or project completion.
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Education
Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline required.
Minimum Experience
Five (5) years of experience in a technical or professional position with at least two (2) years leading end-to-end cross-functional projects.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Two (2) years of SAFe/Agile/Lean experience.
Ability to act autonomously with little to no instruction or oversight
Strong knowledge of overall strategic company initiatives and their implementation through value streams and Operating Companies.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain and present complex information to all levels
Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the larger company strategy.
Strong influencing skills to help guide strategic initiatives without ownership.
Strong knowledge of and adherence to FedEx policies and procedures.

If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. Additional Details: This position is preferred to be domiciled in Memphis, TN, Pittsburgh, PA, or Harrison, AR. Remote locations will be considered.
