A Washington, DC based project management consultancy firm geared up to a hire a Project Manager to join their growing team to act as an owner's rep. This role is ideal for a Project Management professional in the commercial construction industry with ground-up and renovation knowledge. The company is open to applicants from a general contractor or CM background.
Your new role:
As an Owner's Representative Project Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between the client and various stakeholders, ensuring that all projects are executed to the highest standards. You will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and quality, while maintaining clear and effective communication with all parties involved.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the client's representative on multiple projects, ensuring their interests are prioritized.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments.
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Provide regular updates and reports to the client and senior management.
Oversee project closeout, ensuring all deliverables are met and documented.
What you will need to be a successful applicant:
5-8 years of experience as a Project Manager working for a general contractor or construction project management consultancy firm.
Project experience in ground-up and renovation commercial construction projects.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
Ability to be in Washington DC daily, either in the office or on-site visits to the projects.
Compensation and Benefit offerings:
Competitive salary in the range of $125,000 - $140,000 based on career experience.
