Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Franklin, IN (Onsite)

Employment Type: Fulltime Permanent with AXISCADES.

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer will support new process implementation, create process standard work documentation, support new machine startup, and handle validation & PPAP documentation. This role is crucial for developing new processes and working with cross-functional teams to research and implement new manufacturing technologies. The position offers a great work environment with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Job Responsibilities

Create standard work documentation

Collect validation data

Handle PPAP documentation

Design process layout and 5S

Conduct Gauge R&R

Support NPI process with cross-functional teams

Collaborate closely with operations, technicians, and other engineers

Engage in verbal and written communication daily

Participate in online team meetings with offsite employees or suppliers.

Education & Experience Required

Bachelor's degree, associates with 7+ years experience or Masters with less than 5 years.

Technical Skills Required

Understanding part prints & designs

FMEA & Control plan creation

Basic understanding of gauging & part inspection.

Technical Skills Desired

Experience designing & implementing manufacturing processes

Lean manufacturing experience

Automation experience

Strong safety & ergonomic understanding for manufacturing processes

Time management

Equipment installation & troubleshooting

CAD Tool design.

Soft Skills

Team player, good written and verbal communications

Strong work ethic.
