Job Summary
The Coordinator of Pre-College Programs (CPCP) reports to the Director of Pre-College Programs (DPCP) and has primary responsibility for enrollment management and communications for the University's residential and online pre-college programs. The CPCP implements all stages of the enrollment cycle, including application management, registration and billing, and student support. This role serves as the chief point of contact for the public, including potential and current students and families, educators, and press, and manages all program-related communications. The CPCP also provides administrative and operational support for pre-college academic program delivery, working with administrative and academic units across campus, and regularly assists faculty with logistics and planning.

The Pre-College program at UMass Amherst offers residential and online courses and college experiences to students who are rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in high school. Pre-College staff work during the academic year to build and market a roster of programs with extra-curricular activities and then maintain an appropriate environment for minors in residence at UMass Amherst in the summer through the implementation and administration of departmental and University regulations.
