We provide students a transformative leadership experience, push the boundaries of knowledge with faculty research, and offer a portfolio of entrepreneurial and non-degree programs that deliver global impact like no other. We strive to change lives, change organizations, and change the world.
Based in the GSB, the Center for Social Innovation (CSI) educates insightful leaders for social and environmental change. The center prepares GSB students to apply their management and leadership skills to solve the world's toughest problems through courses and extra-curricular programs that promote understanding of deeply entrenched social issues, teach the skills needed to address them, inspire a life of action, build community, and reduce the financial burdens of pursuing impact careers. Housed in CSI and led by Professor Brian S. Lowery, the Leadership for Society Program (L4S) provides students with the opportunity to develop an understanding of the most pressing societal issues of today and grow the cultural intelligence necessary to foster open and productive dialog across wide-ranging world views. Its north star is to enable students to be more useful humans.
