Purpose of Position
The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Physical Therapy, is looking to hire an assistant professor, full-time (1.0) FTE with benefits.
Duties & Responsibilities
Teaching in the areas of general physical therapy care, basic sciences, and other areas of departmental need
Well-defined, ongoing scholarly agenda and dissemination
Service to the department, school, university, and profession
Advising graduate and undergraduate students
Minimum Requirements
Academic doctorate or earned DPT with a commitment to pursue academic doctorate appropriate for teaching responsibilities and scholarly activity
Advanced training with contemporary expertise and clinical experience in generalist physical therapy practice
Current PT license; eligible for ND license
3 years' clinical experience
Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications
Academic doctorate in a field appropriate for teaching responsibilities
A Board Certified Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties
Completion of an American Board of Physical Therapy Residency and Fellowship Education (ABPR-RFE) Program
Experience in clinical research or scholarly activity
Membership and involvement in professional organizations
