Provide life cycle sustainment logistics support for FMS (LG) in sustaining/systems engineering, design interface, supply support, SE/automatic test equipment and PHS&T. The Contractor shall be able to travel up to seven days per month.
Provide FMS product support as described below in execution of its acquisition management support mission.
Assist in producing and reviewing products for PO use that include business case analyses, trade-off studies, estimates for PO acquisition and logistics requirements, written requirements documents for planned acquisitions, and acquisition strategies and plans.
Assist in identifying requirements that will support the acquisition of new Prime Mission Equipment (PME) and SE and supportability improvements to existing systems PME and SE. The Contractor shall assist in tracking the status of these new requirements and recommended improvements shall be tracked from the point at which they are first identified to the point where the capability is fielded at customer sites.
Assist in managing the acquisition, modification, transportation, and support of existing PME and SE processes. In addition, the Contractor shall provide administrative support for meetings as required.
Accomplish PME and SE studies and analyses when new PME or SE requirements have been identified or when changes to existing support concepts are anticipated. These analyses shall include recommendations to enable the Government to make informed PME and SE support decisions.
Provide support in reference to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), transportation plan development and Defense Transportation System support.
Shall be familiar with systems and procedures for moving supplies to FMS customers through Government and commercial means.
Verify eligibility and proper documentation, packaging and marking of the products that will be shipped to the FMS customers.
Assist in the coordination of resources (financial, management, procurement, engineering, and logistics) and the consolidation of their inputs into common documents; assist in planning for the accomplishment of various program milestones.
Assist in producing and reviewing products that include the following: logistical planning documents, acquisition strategies and plans, evaluations of Contractor proposals, assessments of supportability, recommendations for improvement of support plans, deployment plans for delivery of systems to sites worldwide, integrated logistics support plans, technical orders, technical manuals, electronic technical manuals, illustrated parts breakdowns, Computer Program Identification Number, freight forwarding, and work specifications to ensure the documentation meets Government logistics support requirements.
Assist with the AFSAC Directorate/Parts and Repair Ordering System, USAF supply system, warranty and the Supply Discrepancy Report and Quality Deficiency Report processes. This also includes participation at PMR, supportability assistance reviews and other meetings as required.
Provide life cycle sustainment support in maintenance planning, technical data management/TO (depot, DSOR/SORA data rights), and design interface production management support for the MQ-9 and similar systems.
Desired Education/Experience
Bachelors of Science (BS) degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed OR, 20 years of experience without a degree. Five years mush be in the DoD.
