The Orientation Trainer will be responsible for facilitating the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they are well-integrated into the company and equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for success. The role includes delivering engaging orientation sessions, providing a comprehensive overview of company policies, culture, and procedures, and addressing any questions or concerns new hires may have. The orientation trainer works closely with HR and other departments to continuously improve the orientation program and enhance the overall onboarding experience. The ideal trainer will have strong presentation skills, a deep understanding of the company's values and practices, and a passion for helping new employees start their journey.
Effectively communicate and be able to support a culturally diverse workforce of 1,400+ employees.
Conduct new hire orientation; requires using Alchemy system, training on PPE, Safety, LOTO, PIT, etc.
Be responsible for knowledge of day-to-day employee relations activities within our plants including employee engagement and retention activities.
Upload new hire information into UKG.
Add and remove new hires/terms in UKG and make new/replacement badges.
Assist Training Manager with onboarding paperwork.
Trains new hires to perform assigned position(s) within established guidelines and timeframe.
Participates in creating standardized training approaches and materials.
Complies and enforces all company-required policies and procedures.
Monitors new hires' work practices for safety and quality workmanship.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality, this job requires access to confidential and sensitive information, requiring ongoing discretion, and secure information management.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
High school diploma or GED.
1 year prior training experience.
Ability to perform duties with minimal direction, while managing your time and projects in a fast paced and changing manufacturing work environment.
Must be able to effectively communicate in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Must be able to access all areas of the plant alongside any employee in any environmental condition.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior HR experience in a manufacturing environment; strong preference toward food manufacturing/processing.
Current knowledge of State and Federal employment laws and regulations, Labor and Employee Regulations, and benefits.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to communicate on all levels.
Solid working knowledge of computer skills with experience in Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office.

Ability & willingness to instruct, coach, and lead others effectively.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, desk phones, and smartphones. The position will also be required to regularly visit production facility work environments.
