Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Location: Greensboro, NC
A reputable Construction firm is looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager to support the management of commercial construction projects in Greensboro. In this role, you will assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination across teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Track project progress and ensure milestones are met.
Help manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and submittals.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure safety compliance.
Support the preparation of project closeout documents.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-3 years of commercial construction experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore) and MS Office.
Familiarity with building codes and regulations in North Carolina
