We're seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior Project Manager with a strong background in project delivery and a keen interest in wholesale lending or financial services. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team leading a major Lending Transformation initiative at a top-tier financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight: Lead planning, coordination, and execution of day-to-day program and project workstream activities.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues that could impact program delivery.
Strategic Alignment: Work closely with program leadership to prioritize initiatives and align project plans with business objectives.
Executive Reporting: Prepare impactful materials for senior committees and regulatory engagements, ensuring clear and concise communication of key information.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain program reporting tools, dashboards, and metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate and lead governance meetings, workshops, and cross-functional working groups to achieve program outcomes.
Process Adherence: Ensure compliance with program standards, processes, and methods, driving operational excellence.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure program outcomes meet enterprise control standards.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to strategic planning efforts, including program scope evolution, tooling enhancements, and report automation initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: 5-8 years in project/program management, with a background in banking, finance, or wholesale lending preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong expertise in data analysis, advanced Excel, and BI reporting tools; PMP certification is a plus.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead process and organizational changes while managing multiple stakeholders.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering insights to senior management.
Problem-solving: Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in dynamic environments.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.
