Duration: 12-month Contract (with potential for conversion)
Target Pay Rate: $28 - $32.30/hr.
Position Overview:
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will be responsible for performing chemistry-based testing, such as HPLC, particle counting, and uniformity analysis, among others. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of Factor VIII products by performing assays, analyzing data, and supporting lab maintenance. You will also work to identify process improvements, reduce defects, and ensure inspection readiness, contributing directly to product quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical and biological evaluations of final products, intermediate products, raw materials, and production facilities.
Perform and validate various QC assays (e.g., HPLC, particle counting) and establish corresponding specifications.
Assist in the validation of QC assays and contribute to the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Perform data analysis, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance product consistency and reduce defects.
Ensure the laboratory remains in a state of readiness for inspections.
Support routine lab maintenance and testing activities as required.
Daily Interaction:
Team: You will be part of a team of 11 members, collaborating closely with the group to ensure lab operations are efficient.
Supervisor: You will report directly to the Associate Director, with guidance and support provided for your role.
