Job Description:

Requirements

• Ability to handle heavy equipment (lite forklift driving, scissor lift, pallet jack) and machinery (floor sweeper/scrubber)

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies


• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components


• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets


• Integrity and ability to work independently


• The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition for the safety of the employees and to follow Good Manufacturing Practices for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents


• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities (log sheet)


• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects


• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs


• Make adjustments and minor repairs


• Stock and maintain supply rooms

• Cooperate with the rest of the staff and working with warehouse supervisors


• Follow all health and safety regulations


• Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash


• Maintain outer premises by, cleaning entrances and back of building docking areas of trash and debris.


• other duties, tasks or projects as assigned by management

Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred


• Bilingual highly preferred.

• Previous forklift operator experience preferred.


• Ability to work in a change oriented, fast-paced environment.


• Flexibility to work OT when necessary – including weekends


• Flexibility to work special schedules as required satisfying job requirements
