RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in North Andover, MA that is seeking a Public Accountant/Auditor to join their team.

Summary:
This client is a CPA firm that provides high-quality services to its clients. They have a relaxed culture internally. They offer early release on Fridays during the summer season. They offer an excellent benefits package including 100% covered healthcare, PTO, 401k with match, etc. This role will work in a hybrid schedule, 1 day a week remote and the rest of the week in the office.

Responsibilities will include:

• Public Accountant/Auditor will conduct audit, review, and compilation engagements


• Identify and communicate issues, and recommend solutions


• As a Public Accountant/Auditor, you will develop audit programs and testing procedures


• Obtain and review evidence related to audit conclusions


• Research new laws and proposed regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting


• CPA or working towards CPA is a big plus


• 3+ years of public accounting experience


• Some tax experience from a CPA firm


• Excellent communication skills


• Strong interpersonal skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
