In this pivotal role, you will take charge of a team overseeing the delivery of large-scale data center projects. Working directly with senior leadership, you will manage various aspects including project planning, execution, budgeting, billing, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with organizational, client, and project-specific policies.
Uphold safety standards and adherence to national protocols on job sites.
Develop and review project estimates and proposals.
Establish comprehensive timelines, allocate resources effectively, and monitor budgets.
Supervise project execution, ensuring all design, schedule, and budget requirements are met.
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations throughout project lifecycles.
Oversee the coordination of staff and subcontractor activities.
Engage with vendors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Drive efficient billing and proactive collection strategies.
Conduct on-site visits to assess progress and resolve issues.
Foster robust relationships with both clients and team members.
Assist leadership in workforce and material planning for future projects.
Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management.
Perform financial forecasting to maintain alignment with project goals.
Develop project scopes and budgets, manage RFPs, and handle change orders.
Mentor team members to encourage their growth and development.

Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
A minimum of 10 years in construction project management.
Over 5 years specializing in electrical project management for large-scale IT/telecommunications infrastructure, particularly data centers.
Familiarity with data center electrical distribution systems, cabling, and white space configurations.
Experience working on retrofits within operational facilities and coordinating cross-discipline critical systems.
Proficiency with technology and adaptability to new systems.
Calm, effective decision-making under deadlines and external pressures.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Expertise in scheduling, delegation, and timely task completion.
Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience in mission-critical projects.
A degree in project management, construction management, business, engineering, or a related field-or equivalent education, certifications, and experience (e.g., journeyman/master electrician's license).
Certifications such as PMP or PMI-SP.
Knowledge of tools like Google Suite, Salesforce, and ConEst.
