Platform Forecast Model & Analyst Intern

Internship Summary:
This MBA Finance intern will be working on the GCD Petcare Marketing Team and liaising with Business Development and Strategy Finance colleagues to develop a robust, dynamic and user-friendly global forecasting model across multiple products, including given inputs of: pricing assumptions, ramp rates, revenue assumptions and cannibalization estimates within the platform, and to currently marketed products. Inputs and outputs will be clearly defined, along with negotiable and non-negotiable needs.
Internship Job Duties:
Lead the creation of a complex platform (for several products) forecasting model to completion throughout the 10-12 week summer internship
Conduct data analysis and user needs audit to build a robust, dynamic and user-friendly model across multiple products, aligned with non-negotiable needs
Final presentation of model to key stakeholders, including Global Commercial Development and Finance leaders
Internship Qualifications:
*Enrolled in an MBA program, specializing in Finance, with an expected graduation date of December 2025 or Spring 2026
*Advanced Excel skills and experience, including complex forecasting model construction; demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis, financial and/or valuation models
* Monte Carlo understanding preferred
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, including 5+ years of advanced Excel experience
*Ability to work independently with large amounts of data, deal with ambiguity, problem-solve and clearly present recommendations
*Additional MBA concentration or Undergraduate degree in Marketing a plus
*Alternate Educational Qualifications: Master's degree in Mathematics with a strong background in Corporate Finance, Financial Services or related fields
The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position:
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $16.00 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $20.00 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $32.50 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $36.00 per hour
The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be located in California, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Illinois (Chicago area), Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington (Seattle area):
Student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $17.00 per hour
Student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $22.00 per hour
Student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $36.40 per hour
Student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $40.30 per hour
