Responsibilities

What you'll be challenged to do:

TranSystems is seeking a Business Systems Analyst that will be responsible for administering and maintaining our Deltek Vantagepoint ERP system. In this role, you will participate in the management of integrations related to Deltek Vision/VantagePoint, and other systems such as Dayforce (HRIS system) and payroll.  Serving as the technical lead with introducing new versions and updates, you will be the primary support and point of contact with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint. This can include designing, developing, and providing enhancements for Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint, along with technical troubleshooting and resolution Partnering with our Marketing, Finance, Operations, HR, Technology, and Business Development Teams, this role will support the creation of reports and developing standards for data quality and analysis. This role will help to create and define workflow processes and customization of dashboards using reporting tools including Microsoft Power BI and SSRS.  Helping to establish and deliver continuous improvement to TranSystems business applications and data, your technical perspective is critical in advocating best practices and contributing to strategic business discussions.

General Duties & Responsibilities:

 


  • Be Technical Lead on the Vantagepoint ERP implementation.

  • Provide ongoing support of Deltek Vantagepoint applications and processes to users.

  • Perform Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint administration and maintenance tasks, including testing and updates.

  • Manage financial and operational system evaluations, implementations and upgrades.

  • Manage user and security roles in compliance with defined procedures

  • Assist with the identification of internal user needs for enterprise applications and assist with implementing identified solutions.

  • Provide operational and technical training as needed.

  • Perform technical troubleshooting and resolution.

  • Develop and document technical and operational process manuals.

  • Understand Deltek Vantagepoint application architecture and the integration with other products.

 

Qualifications

What you bring to our firm:


  • Experience working with ERP  preferably Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint.

  • Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst.

  • Detailed understanding of enterprise applications in a project accounting  Architect/Engineering  organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • SSRS and Power BI report writing experience is a plus.
