We are looking for an experienced Informatica Lead to drive the development, design, and implementation of data integration and ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of SQL, ETL processes, and Python scripting, combined with proven leadership skills to manage and mentor team members effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and optimization of ETL workflows using Informatica Power Center to support complex data integration needs.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
Create and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and load processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Use Python scripting to automate repetitive tasks and enhance ETL pipelines.
Ensure data quality, governance, and validation processes across all systems.
Troubleshoot, optimize and improve ETL processes for maximum performance and reliability.
Maintain clear documentation of workflows, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
Stay updated with emerging trends in ETL, data integration tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements.
Required Skills:
12+ years of experience with Informatica Power Center as an ETL tool, including the development, administration, and optimization of workflows.
Strong proficiency in SQL development, including complex query writing and performance tuning.
Extensive experience in ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Hands-on experience with Python programming for scripting and automation tasks.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts such as star schema, snowflake schema, and data marts.
Familiarity with data governance frameworks and quality assurance practices.
Experience with performance tuning in large-scale ETL operations.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage project deliverables.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of big data tools such as Spark, Hive, or Kafka.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data integration tools.
Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
Knowledge of cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Snowflake or Redshift.
Agile or Scrum project management experience.
Relevant certifications in Informatica Power Center, SQL, or cloud platforms.
