Mission:
We are looking for an Environmental/Safety Supervisor that can work in a fast-paced manufacturing/automotive environment.
Essential Functions of Role:
Sound knowledge of ISO-14001 and the ability to obtain and maintain the certifications necessary for the facility to meet all customer needs.
Sound knowledge of OSHA regulations, Workers' Compensation and all safety related legislative requirements.
Sound knowledge of all Federal and State Environmental regulations, Air Quality, Water, Hazardous Waste, Pollution Prevention, Sampling and all environmental related legislative requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent degree in safety, environmental, ergonomics, business, human resources, or a related field
Eight to ten years of experience in Safety or Human Resources field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Physical ability to work in plant environment.
Physically able to operate computer terminal.
Physically able to travel in U.S. and foreign countries.
Physically able to work long hours.
Ability to work and move around freely in a manufacturing environment.
