PrairieStar Health Center, one of the top performing health centers in the nation, seeks to hire a BHC to join our integrated behavioral health team.
PrairieStar provides resources to help providers achieve work/life balance and high-quality care for our patients including an integrated behavioral health model, IT, quality support staff, AI scribe, lab, dental, vision and an integrated EHR.
Duties
Providing comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of behavioral health clients.
Providing consultation, brief interventions for psychological/psychiatric problems and disorders, evaluating crisis situations and applying appropriate interventions.
Developing appropriate treatment goals and discussing progress toward goals with client based on behavioral health concerns, substance use disorders and life events.
Consulting with our medical team concerning treatment plan and amending plan as directed.
