Randstad is searching for a Cyber Security Solutions Architect to support a growing program within the IRS that is helping modernize their security solutions and they are in need of someone with a lot of hands on experience implementing and updating current and new security technology in their environment. This role needs someone onsite 3 days per week in Rockville, MD and will require either getting and IRS MBI clearance or if you have an existing one onboarding will be multiple weeks faster! This is an urgent need and they will give us quick feedback.

Responsibilities
Designing, modifying, and testing technical architecture
Provide supervision and guidance to development teams
Continually research the current and emerging technologies and propose changes where needed
Inform various stakeholders about any issues with the current technical solutions being implemented
Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have
Provide updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs and budgets
Requirements and skills
Proven work experience as a Solution Architect or similar role
Previous project management experience is advantageous
In-depth understanding of coding languages
Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases
Efficient communication skills
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, Master's preferred
Experience with a handful of the following Cyber tools: 365 Defender, Archer, Symantec, purview, Splunk or Azure Sentinel
