Help Cardone Ventures grow and scale their core business management web platform while working with other highly-skilled domestic teams and those in Mexico. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of different applications within a Business Collaboration and Productivity Software-suite, that services a quarter of a million users and includes a few of the following capabilities: a learning management system, real-time communication capabilities (Inbox and Messaging), a project management system, document management, among other things. SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Delivering high-quality front-end code, contributing to the successful redesign and development of key platform tools.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align product direction with user needs and business objectives.
Enhancing user engagement across relevant platforms.
OBJECTIVES
Be responsible for reasoning about product objectives and contributing to the team's continual discussion regarding product direction
Take full-part in the development, testing, deployment, and monitoring of related software, as a majority of our platform (~10 tools) need to be redesigned and developed within the next year
Articulate the benefits and challenges of depending on front-end libraries, frameworks, and tool-sets.
Eventually assist in developing a much cleaner mobile interface in order to better engage with potential end customers (iOS, Android), as Cardone Venture's currently leverages frameworks that have favorable cross-platform implications
Implement user feedback mechanisms and analytics tools to gather insights on user behavior and preferences and make data-driven improvements.
Create and maintain documentation for the front-end codebase, making it easier for other developers to understand and contribute to the project.
COMPETENCIES
Demonstrates knowledge of HTTP API Design Patterns and industry standard usages (e.g. RESTful, GraphQL, OpenAPI, and JSON:API)
Proficient in 1 or more front-end frameworks (e.g. React or Vue)
Strong understanding of modern Javascript (Typescript), ES6 fundamentals, and HTML5 APIs
Ability to articulate thoughts clearly
Ability to decompose a problem into clear software and UX design actions.
A demonstrated desire to pick up new things, building knowledge and and a skillset quick that the role demands
Ability to implement and code design a web application from concept to production
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's or Graduate degree in a STEM-field
Minimum of 3 years of professional software experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Prolonged periods of sitting while working at a desk and using a computer.
