PeerSource is currently recruiting for multiple Telecom Product Owners on a Contract basis for our client in Denver, CO.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner with Figma, JIRA, and Confluence. This role involves connecting customers' Product Leads and Product Managers with offshore resources to build, test, and deliver self-service digital enhancements successfully. The ideal candidate will work with customer resources to refine requirements and articulate the user experience, technical infrastructure, and project goals, ensuring the product vision is met. Effective communication between groups and resolving questions is essential.
Responsibilities
Act as a proxy between the customer and offshore teams, communicating requirements and providing detailed documentation for product high-level user stories and specific sub-stories to offshore development and QA teams.
Understand the current and intended end-to-end customer experience.
Work cross-functionally with on-shore Product Managers, Development, and QA teams to launch products and enhancements.
Provide transparent communication with all stakeholders.
Identify and optimize process improvements between onshore and offshore teams.
Ensure product vision and goals are being met.
Resolve questions and issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
3+ years of product development management experience with customer-facing applications.
Strong technical skills with previous experience as a hands-on developer.
Prior Telecom related industry experience such as Cable, Datacom, Backend Billing, or Online Education.
Proficient in Figma, JIRA, and Confluence.
Experience in product backlog management.
Understanding of best practices in product development and the cable or telecommunications industry.
Ability to manage frequent change and handle multiple projects and tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills with good judgment and thoughtfulness.
Clear and straightforward oral and written communication skills.
