Job Title: ServiceNow Business Process Analyst
Location: 100% Remote within the USA
Role and Responsibilities:
Gather business requirements for existing or new processes and applications in production by interviewing technical teams and SMEs.
Schedule walkthroughs and business reviews to validate requirements.
Identify, validate, and document metadata usage and data lineage.
Map business process flows using Visio, participate in research, and recommend appropriate solutions.
Exercise judgment and provide guidance to less experienced team members as needed within their assigned applications.
Provide outstanding service to all customers.
Leverage business knowledge and principles with technical knowledge of applications.
Conduct root cause analysis and document findings to drive defect resolution.
Required Skills:
ServiceNow
Agile software development (e.g., Jira or equivalent)
Strong business analysis skills
Ability to build rapport with clients and lead discovery sessions
Strong understanding of workflow analysis and efficient workflow design
Ability to manage multiple streams of work for parallel scoping efforts
Familiarity with integrations and APIs
Preferred Skills:
Government consulting experience, especially with HHS, CMS, or ONC
Understanding of UI/UX design concepts and ability to gather requirements for HCD and TX (Total Experience) process improvements
508 Compliance
Instructional design and training facilitation
Ability to write training materials and/or test cases
Experience with automated testing
ServiceNow certification(s)
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
Six (6) years of direct experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
