HSAGP(Hyundai-SK America Green power) Energy LLC. is Hyundai Motor Group and SK On' s joint venture company to produce batteries for electric vehicle batteries. The joint venture plans to invest $5 billion to build an EV battery cell plant in Bartow County, Georgia. Hyundai Motor Group and SK On will each hold a 50 percent stake in the joint venture. The new plant created by the two companies is expected to start manufacturing battery cells in the first half of 2026 with an annual production capacity of 35 GWh, enough to support the production of 300,000 EVs a year. The future Bartow County plant in northwest Georgia is strategically located near Hyundai Motor Group's existing and planned U.S. facilities. Job Duties & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to oversee and administer the employee prefect rewards and smart benefits.
Total Reward Strategies Development
Define a fair equitable, competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to our company's strategy, business goals and ensure that all in compliance with current legislation
Uses various methods, techniques, and make data-based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations
Analyze surveys to ensure appropriate compensation across all departments
Monitor, completes research and analyze compensations and benefits trends; as well as supports benchmarking efforts to provide on-going recommendations to maintains and enhance competitiveness of benefit programs within health care environment
Compensation & Benefits Plan Management and Operation
Implements, Oversees, Programs optimal function of the HRIS (ADP) which may include installation, customization, development, maintain, and upgrade system and module (especially time attendance feature for hourly)
Performs in ensuring accurate and timely production of the division payroll functions; oversee and participate in the review, verification, auditing, and processing of payroll forms, records, and documents
Participates in complex payroll support functions; calculate, review, post a variety of complex payroll data such as contract adjustments, retroactive payments, hours and leave, reconcile and submit payroll for check processing
Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefits and compensation policies, personnel procedures and classification programs
Manages required disclosure and reporting of summary Annual Reports, Summary Plan Descriptions, COBRA and HIPPA Privacy requirements
Perform analysis in compensation and benefits processes, bonus programs, health insurance, retirement programs, deferred compensation plans, severance agreements, early retirement, non standard programs and workers' compensations
Other Task as necessary to meet the organization's objectives
Provide high quality work by ensuring accuracy and seeking to continuously improve our process and platforms by embracing new and better ways of doing things
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BS degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance) or equivalent practical experience
5 years experience as HR professional in an organization having 500-1000 employees (required)
7+ years of proven work experience as a Compensation & Benefits Specialist in manufacturing industries (preferred)
Proficiency in extensive HRIS such as SAP, ERP, and ADP and workforce planning software/tools
Solid technical proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management
Effectively prioritize and execute task in high-pressure environment
Confident working independently, able to get to grips with new areas of work
