LOCATION: Wilsonville, OR
SALARY: $32-$35 per hour
SCHEDULE:Monday-Friday | 8:00 am to 5:00 pm | Long-Term

THE ROLE
As a Benefits Specialist, you'll manage and support the employee benefits programs, including coordinating enrollments, addressing employee questions, and ensuring regulatory compliance. In close collaboration with the Benefits Manager, you'll work to enhance benefits offerings and strengthen communication, ensuring employees have a clear understanding of their options and resources.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee the enrollment, changes, and terminations of employee benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness programs. • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving issues effectively. • Assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits, including documentation and reporting. • Liaise with benefits vendors to facilitate enrollment processes, manage service issues, and ensure service quality. • Assist in preparing reports on benefits utilization and costs to inform strategic decision-making. • Support the Benefits Manager in assessing current benefits offerings and suggesting improvements based on employee feedback and market trends.
SKILLS AND MUST-HAVES • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or human resources, with a focus on employee benefits preferred. • Experience providing support to 400 employees plus • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, CEBS) are a plus.
