Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Facilities at The Forest Club. The Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities operations, facility management, budgeting, and preventive maintenance on a day-to-day basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervises, coordinates and assists staff in the maintenance and repair of plumbing, A/C and heating, ice machine, swimming pools, lighting, kitchen equipment, refrigeration, laundry, server room, etc.
Ensures all maintenance and repairs are completed on a timely, cost-effective basis and according to specifications.
Orders necessary materials and tools for repairing equipment
Maintains an ongoing preventative maintenance program for the Club.
Responsible for the safety of the department and the building.
Ensures all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies are corrected.
Assists in checking fire protection systems for proper operation and training personnel in their use.
Schedules daily tasks including work orders for all areas of the club and its equipment.
Daily review of department timecards and make necessary adjustments for absences, missed punches etc. according to club policies and procedures.
Hires, trains, coaches and evaluates all maintenance staff
Controls key systems.
Maintains a log for all equipment repairs.
Supports event set up needs as scheduled
Makes cost estimates for budgeting/contract review purposes
Helps develop and maintain a plan which outlines short term and long-term requirements for repair and maintenance including capital replacements
Ensures Club is in compliance with all federal, state and local laws, including OSHA, EEOC, Wage-Hour and Health laws.
Perform all work-related duties as assigned by General Manager
