Who you are:
The Facilities and Special Project Manager role is to ensure that store maintenance and facility projects are managed in a timely manner and within budget. The Facility and Special Project Manager clearly communicates with all partners, including, but not limited to, Store Management, Visuals and Retail Operations regarding timelines, budgets and overall impact on business needs. The Facilities and Special Project Manager will negotiate and partner with vendors and contractors to expedite projects on a national, regional and store level. It will be crucial to prioritize urgent needs that arise within stores and exercise discretion and independent judgment in the day-to-day management over key functional areas.
What You'll Do:
Respond to all reports of facility issues within stores and recommend strategy and solutions
Contact appropriate vendors and contractors ensuring deadlines are being met cost effectively
Create budgets and timelines for any upcoming projects
Consistent follow-up with vendors and agencies responsible for project execution
Sensitivity to business needs of the stores, ie. scheduling maintenance repairs during the appropriate hours
Ability to understand the origin of electric/water/air conditioning issues and to communicate with vendors to ensure Brunello Cucinelli is receiving the best outcome for our needs
Understand the urgency of health and safety issues as well as building and fire codes
Build relationships with Store Management in each of BC locations and with the Regional Managers and the Italian HQs
Keep all parties up to date on projects
Ability to give status updates, when requested, by upper management
Successfully bring in third parties, as necessary, such as building owners, the city, etc.
Knowledge of ADA codes (ie. Water leaks, clear pathways, trash & working elevators
Maintain safe working conditions for employees and customers
Support pre-construction activities (survey, collecting documents from the LL, preliminary information from the others department etc.)
Manage and coordinate the onsite construction activities
Work with company management, GC, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the project is completed on schedule, in budget and with quality that meets company standards
Close the punch lists (including travel on site if necessary)
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
3-5 years of Facilities experience required
Multi-site management experience
Budget management experience
AutoCad Knowledge preferred
Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively to deliver timely and impactful results.

As required by New York City salary transparency law, effective November 2022, the expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000-$80,000. Various factors are considered when extending offers, such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
