Work as part of a team supporting Organizational Excellence in the transformation of Global Supply Chain and deliver on enterprise-wide strategies. This group translates, defines, and facilitates strategic initiatives and drives business processes to enable best-in-class Global Supply Chain operations and performance.
The Project Manager, Global Supply Chain provides leadership to strategic supply chain priorities as defined by supply chain strategy. Work will be 50% remote.
What you will do:
Lead and ensure successful deployment of strategic projects.
Drive program/project activities, including kickoff meetings, recurring status meetings, executive sponsor meetings, reporting, risk tracking, development of risk mitigation plans, steering committee meetings, and conflict resolution. Manage multiple programs as assigned.
Facilitate meetings using governance framework, setting of agendas, priorities, and objectives; understand and triage topics for discussion and alignment. Facilitate discussions in a structured manner to achieve quick decisions and robust outcomes.
Ensure utilization of standard program management processes, governances, and systems.
Ensure the development of plans to achieve objectives, including but not limited to defining scope, managing interdependencies, and identifying critical path and timing while meeting strategic intent and achieving key milestones. Ensure adequate program budget and a clear value proposition.
Manage resources, as necessary, to attain program deliverables.
Ensure program delivery is on time, within scope, and within the allocated budget.
Lead problem-solving and drive decision-making, addressing major risks and issues by identifying, documenting, resolving, communicating, or escalating to senior leadership when appropriate.
Develop and/or champion change management strategy and plan and include as part of overall project plan.
Create and maintain comprehensive program documentation.
Influence key stakeholders and develop program communication strategy, approach, and plan to manage expectations and ensure timely and optimal execution.
Proactively drive scenario analyses to manage potential impact on plans and timelines and recommend strategic direction to management.
Foster diverse/inclusive high-performance teams and maintain strong relationships with operational and functional leadership.
Need to have:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, life sciences and/or business required, with a Masters or MBA preferred.
5+ years of end-to-end supply chain experience, preferably in the biotech/pharma industry or comparable.
5+ years of project management experience required, with PMP certification preferred.
Experience in portfolio, program, and project management with the ability to develop clear action plans and execute against aligned strategy.
Experience in project/program management of complex projects involving cross-functional, multi-site, global teams.
Proficiency with project/program management methodologies (i.e., agile, change management), tools (i.e., Microsoft Project, Tableau), and platforms (i.e., OnePlan).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and work autonomously with a high level of accountability and sense of urgency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on fact-based decision making, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple projects with respect to priorities in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
Proactive use of judgment and creativity to manage risk and uncertainty, anticipating the need for and implementing contingency or escalation plans.
Excellent collaboration, problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
