Job Description:

Summary

Passion for planning, coordinating, and developing schedules for CORE Texas construction projects in K-12, Higher Education and Municipal markets. Ability to work and coordinate at the project level as part of a team with development of Microsoft Project baseline schedule, schedule progress updates, acceleration/mitigation strategies and Time-impact analyses.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Work with preconstruction, operations directors and/or field teams in developing high level pursuit or preconstruction schedules to communicate with our clients the plan to deliver projects successfully in accordance with RFQ/RFP requirements.
  • Support project teams in the development of the project baseline schedules in Microsoft Project, incorporating all activities, milestones, durations, dependencies and logic. Collaborate with superintendents, project managers, and Trade Partners (as applicable) to efficiently build logic, sequence, and overall flow to achieve project objectives. This should be completed during the preconstruction phase prior to GMP.
  • Update Project Schedules regularly with the project team to accurately reflect actual progress and forecast future milestones. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project schedules, reports, and documentation and file according to CORE standards.
  • Regularly walk the projects and identify potential scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks and/or opportunities, and proactively and objectively provide input on the strategies to mitigate risks and keep projects on schedule.
  • Clearly communicate project schedule updates to leadership, ensuring they are informed of any impacts and future challenges.
  • Ensure that all construction schedules adhere to CORE best practices and company standards and they meet contractual requirements.
  • Analyze historical project data and performance metrics to refine scheduling processes and optimize resource utilization. Develop and adjust project schedule templates as required.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 Years of experience in scheduling
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Project
  • Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with colleagues, trade partners and client
  • Strong attention to detail and time management, as multiple locations and project scheduling will be required.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and collaboration
