Role: Security Analyst
Location: Fort Belvoir, VA
Work model: Hybrid - Fulltime
Salary: $100,000 - $130,000
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE
Must haves:
Holds an active Security Clearance
2-4 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or in a cybersecurity-related role.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) and common cyber threats (malware, phishing, DDoS, etc.).
Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development/analysis.
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and their security principles.
Basic understanding of scripting and automation (e.g., Bash, Python) to streamline security tasks.
