Location: San Diego, CA 92110 (Onsite with some errands across campus)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 12:30 pm-8:30 pm; Friday or Saturday as scheduled. 37.5 Hour Work weeks.
Duration: Temporary with the possibility of extension
Pay: $23- $28 per hour DOE
Responsibilities:
The Faculty Assistant will be responsible for providing general and academic administrative support to the Law School Faculty. The tasks are generally complex and demanding support tasks for the faculty.

Conduct research using legal databases (e.g., Westlaw, Lexis-Nexis) and online sources.
Manage course materials, upload assignments to TWEN/Canvas, and coordinate student submissions.
Prepare, type, and proctor exams; assist with attendance, seating charts, and syllabus review.
Support classroom technology setup and troubleshooting.
Schedule Zoom meetings, process reimbursements, and manage faculty budgets.
Assist with manuscript editing, file maintenance, travel arrangements, and classroom/event setup.
Order books/supplies, handle print-shop requests, and manage library/mail runs.
Support faculty recruitment for student assistants, manage calendars, and assist with Trial Advocacy Program.
Facilitate scholarship promotion via mailings, event planning, and book sale coordination.
Assist with MBE course (student data uploads, royalty report processing) and externship support.
Qualifications
Two years in a business setting (legal or education related setting is preferred).
High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and legal research platforms.
Strong typing (60 WPM), proofreading, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and manage multiple tasks calmly.
