Job Responsibilities

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Project Manager in all phases of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
  • Collaborating with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Monitoring project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports.
  • Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Identifying and resolving project-related issues and conflicts promptly.
  • Participating in project meetings and providing regular updates to the Project Manager and senior management.
  • Supporting the procurement process, including sourcing materials and managing vendor relationships.
  • Assisting with change order management and project closeout procedures.

Skill Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction project management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
