The Project Manager plays a pivotal role at RWE Design Build in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. This multifaceted position involves budgeting, scheduling, ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations, and effectively managing project teams.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Spearheading the planning, execution, and successful completion of construction projects within specified timelines and budgets while upholding quality and safety standards.
Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, encompassing pre-construction planning through project closeout.
Developing and managing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.
Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure precise adherence to project specifications.
Managing comprehensive project documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance throughout the project duration.
Conducting regular on-site visits and inspections to monitor progress proactively and identify any potential issues for timely resolution.
Addressing conflicts and challenges that may arise during the construction process effectively.
Ensuring the safety of all personnel on the construction site as a top priority.
Maintaining open communication with stakeholders to provide regular project updates and promptly address any concerns that may arise.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager with a track record of independently managing Commercial Construction Projects.
Proficiency in utilizing construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera, HeavyBid, Civil 3D for efficient project execution.
Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines effectively.
Flexibility to occasional travel to various project sites as required.
Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Exceptional negotiation skills along with proficiency in contract management for successful project outcomes.
