Supports engineering activities such as design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry or specialized test equipment. Independently works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, and defined plans to perform modifications, testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions. Performs test set-up, qualification and agency certification testing, and data capture for test reports with minimal supervision and guidance.
Uses test, development, and diagnostic equipment, including, but not limited to, digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, current and voltage probes, waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, and specialized test apparatus.

Day to day duties - Test setup creation (soldering, mechanical assembly), PCBA and drive level testing, team standup meetings, test report creation

How the team is structured, how this person will fit in or support the team: This technician would be working on smaller project team with 2 electrical engineers, and 2 mechanical engineers as well as part of larger power engineering team of ~30 engineers and technicians

Years of experience required: This could vary widely from 1-2 to 30+. Previous candidates with military experience have worked out very well in this role.

Computer knowledge required to perform duties: Windows operating system, Outlook email, Teams, Ethernet connections to drives, SAP, Windchill
Work hours: Flexible 1st shift hours (any 8 hours between 6am and 6pm)
Can a person work remotely? If remote, are they required to travel onsite. If so, amount of time onsite and how often?: 90% onsite in Mequon WI, can work from home to work on test reports or training on computer
How soon do you want to have someone in place?: As soon as possible, in January if possible
