L.F. Jennings is seeking an attorney to join our team in Falls Church, Virginia as In-House Counsel. This key team member will provide legal counsel and guidance for a variety of matters.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years of construction law experience.
Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate prime contract agreements and subcontracts.
Provide dispute resolution guidance.
Facilitate relationships with and coordinate work with outside counsel.
Oversee risk management resolutions.
Review general legal documents and agreements.
Skills/Abilities
Skilled in drafting and negotiating agreements and contracts.
Demonstrable understanding of insurance and other loss control programs.
Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates and third parties.
Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while maintaining deadlines.
Education and Experience:
Juris Doctor Degree.
Minimum of five years of construction law experience.
Current licensure to practice law in the state of Virginia.
