Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Demand Planner with experience in both mature and growth-stage environments. This role is critical for developing accurate, logic-driven demand forecasts and ensuring optimized inventory management across our regulated product portfolio. You'll have the opportunity to shape our supply chain processes while playing a hands-on role in scaling our high-growth startup.

This position requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and understands the complexities of channel dynamics (manufacturer ? distributor ? retailer ? consumer).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain complex demand planning models, primarily in Excel, to forecast product needs for U.S. and Canadian markets.
  • Collaborate across supply chain, production, marketing, and sales teams to align supply plans with forecasted demand.
  • Proactively monitor inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock situations, adjusting plans as needed.
  • Lead monthly demand and supply planning meetings, driving alignment and execution on priorities.
  • Contribute insights to production scheduling, promotional planning, and new product launches in a regulated environment.
  • Refine and optimize forecasting processes, leveraging logic-driven models rather than off-the-shelf statistical tools.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of demand planning experience in CPG or similar industries (e.g., consumer electronics, medical devices, manufactured consumer products with distribution and retail focus).
  • Skillset: Strong Excel modeling capabilities and an understanding of channel dynamics. Familiarity with sell-through data and geographic distribution challenges is a plus.
  • Adaptability: A mix of experience in both startup or growth-product environments and mature organizations.
  • Approach: A doer with a hands-on mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting and avoids a "push-a-button" approach to forecasting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Extra Credit: Experience with regulated products or a proven ability to scale planning processes in a high-growth environment.
