This role is critical in bridging the gap between advanced statistical knowledge and its practical application in the field of Lean Six Sigma and operational excellence. This individual will help with the development of our data analysis product, EngineRoom, while also contributing as a statistical subject matter expert for training material and customer support.

We have team cookouts, hackathons, and an odd infatuation with Jeff Goldblum and garden gnomes. Successful MoreSteam associates embrace a continuous improvement mindset and proactively take ownership of driving progress.

Collaborate with the software development team to evaluate and enhance statistical features in our software products.
Provide guidance on which tools and algorithms are most valuable to practitioners in the field.
Assist in prototyping or refining algorithms, potentially using R, to optimize statistical computations.
Support content development by providing advanced statistical insights and reviewing materials for technical accuracy.
Engage directly with customers, offering expertise to support Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt project reviews and other advanced initiatives.
Stay updated on emerging trends in statistics and Lean Six Sigma to ensure our tools remain relevant and cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent level of expertise.
3+ years of professional experience in applied statistics, preferably within the fields of operational excellence, Lean Six Sigma, or process improvement.
Strong understanding of statistical tools and techniques commonly used in Lean Six Sigma (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, DOE).
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including software developers and content creators.
Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to guide and mentor others in the application of statistical methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., Black Belt or Master Black Belt).
Experience working with statistical software tools in an educational or training context - including Minitab and JMP.
Familiarity with Agile software development environments.
Ability to design and conduct workshops or training sessions on statistical topics.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, dental, and 401(k) with profit sharing and matching.
Opportunities for professional growth and development.
A collaborative, innovative work environment where your expertise will make a direct impact.
Hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 remote days per week
