Who are we hiring (and what will they do)?

We are looking for a Head of Product to join our team, reporting directly to the CEO.

As a successful Head of Product, you will be responsible for defining and communicating the strategic path for our software. The Head of Product develops and manages the product plan and backlog, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the creation of services and features are developed and released on time and on budget .

You will build experiences and capabilities that will be leveraged by our 100,000 users. You will work with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to develop a product strategy and build consensus across these diverse functional teams. Success will be measured through metrics such as engagement, stability, and retention.

  • Lead a product management and UI/UX team in product-led strategic planning, risk management and overall product lifecycle management, setting clear goals and fostering a culture of innovation, impact, and collaboration
  • Build, maintain, and prioritize the product roadmap with input from the right stakeholders that supports business and clients needs to create a better human experience through our product
  • Coordinate product implementations and all aspects of release planning and work closely with counterparts in Development, Marketing, and Sales Engineering to ensure consistent communication internally and externally
  • Design and implement process improvements for product management and release management
  • Use a variety of qualitative and quantitative tools to ensure product development is focused on the best results for clients, increasing revenue, and reducing churn, empowering businesses with the tools to transform conversations into an advantage
  • Provide on-going strategic insights and thought leadership based on industry, customer, and marketplace trends to revolutionize how people and businesses connect
  • Evaluate and develop new vendor relationships that drive value for the customer and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge regarding products, services, infrastructure and operations of the Company to achieve optimal insight into the Company's product development, capabilities, and functionality requirements.
  • Understand compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI, etc.) and the impact on the our software

What skills will help you be effective on our team?

  • Degree in Technology or other relevant subject
  • 8+ years in product management and 5+ years experience driving product development for a SaaS product
  • An informed point of view about product design and an understanding of how to create simple and intuitive user interfaces
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to drive decisions and recommendations
  • Excellent communication of product decisions and the rationale behind them
  • An understanding of the technical architecture for web and mobile applications
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams, and accustomed to negotiating to remove roadblocks, evaluate alternative approaches, and prioritize decisions
  • Ability to lead, influence, build talent, collaborate, and provide direction for a a complex software
  • A high-level of accommodation and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment of constant change and the ability to perform well under pressure and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organization
  • The ability to work independently, but also be a strong team player across the organization
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with anyone

  • The salary presented with this job offer will vary based upon factors such as calibrated job level (Director/Sr. Director/VP/CPO), educational background, prior work experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. We are looking for the right candidate for this role - not necessarily a specific title!
