Pay Rate: $30-$32 Per hour on W2
Must haves: • Customer Service Oriented: Must possess strong critical thinking skills. • Effective Communication: Key to understanding needs and asking the right questions. • Technical Proficiency: Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems). • Financial Acumen: Understanding of finance, purchase orders (POs), and invoicing. • Ad Hoc Experience: Familiarity with scope of work and following established processes. • Vendor/Contract Management: Proven experience in managing vendors and contracts. • Industry Experience: Experience in the food industry is a plus, but candidates with a technical background from other industries are also welcome. • Research and Development or Manufacturing Experience: Preferred background in R&D or manufacturing.
Job Description • Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, the Assistant Facility Manager supports the facilities organization at a specific office location and is charged with supporting the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, programs and workplace services delivery that provides a well-managed and well-maintained building. Places an emphasis on a positive response to the concerns and needs of the occupants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination with department goals and objectives. • Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility including janitorial, life-safety, engineering, site services, and general maintenance are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with Kraft Heinz policies and management directives. • Ensure all contracts are reviewed on a regular basis and confirm invoices match contract pricing.
Supervise all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the property. • Under the direction of the Facility Manager, respond promptly to requests for building maintenance, repairs, cleaning needs, etc. from building occupants.
Compile information necessary to ensure all site-specific documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time, including (and as applicable): Property Information Book, Site Operating Manual, Emergency Procedures Manual, Safety/Compliance Logs, As-built Drawings, Property Condition Assessments and other reports and documentation as required.
Supports in preparation of budgets, operating reports (monthly and quarterly) related to the facility, as directed • Assist in providing information and reports necessary for the development of capital budgets for the facility. This includes contributions towards a five-year plan of maintenance, facility improvement, and cost reduction initiatives. • Collect, analyze and prepare reports of such statistical data as may be required to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectives. • Expected to be thoroughly familiar with the vendor agreements, other building/facility contracts and all requirements contained therein. • Monitor and ensure that vendors comply with insurance requirements and coordinate all claims as required. • Proactively inspect the facility, systems, rooms, common areas, etc. and report any findings or issues to the Facility Manager. • Assists with general administrative tasks as assigned including back up reception/mailroom, answering phones, written correspondence, ordering supplies, computer and data entry work, preparing spreadsheets and reports, and other duties assigned by Facility Manager.
