An SAP Manager oversees the maintenance, and optimization of SAP systems within an organization, ensuring the software aligns with business needs by managing technical and functional teams, leading projects, identifying improvement opportunities, and collaborating with stakeholders across different departments to ensure smooth operations and efficient use of SAP functionalities across the company; key responsibilities include strategic planning, system configuration, user training, troubleshooting issues, and staying updated on the latest SAP developments to drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities of an SAP Manager:
Project Management:
Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation projects, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Team Leadership:
Manage a team of SAP functional and technical consultants, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and evaluating performance.
Business Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into functional specifications for SAP configurations.
Change Management:
Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure user adoption of new SAP functionalities.
System Optimization:
Identify areas for improvement within the SAP system and implement enhancements to optimize processes and performance.
User Training:
Develop and deliver training programs to end users on SAP functionalities and best practices.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to users for troubleshooting issues and resolving system errors.
Compliance Management:
Ensure SAP systems comply with relevant industry regulations and internal controls.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with SAP vendors and partners to ensure timely support and updates.
Required Skills:

Pay Range:
Base Salary: $165,000
In addition, this position qualifies for benefits like health insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(K). Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, education, and/or to comply with federal or state law.
