ABOUT THE POSITION
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
We are seeking a Business Project Manager, this is not an Information Technology project position. The projects will be manufacturing based - engineering, manufacturing operations, facilities, process, and etc., related to a large manufacturing site.
Key Deliverables
Develop documentation for processes and procedures for projects.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Develop a detailed project plan
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Communicate, monitor and track progress
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
5+ years of end-to-end project management experience
Creative problem-solver
Basic financial planning
Resource Management
Effective team-building expertise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Experience in a matrix-based, marcom organization preferred
