Position Overview: Senior Programmer Analyst (TM1 Specialist)
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst with specialized expertise in IBM TM1 Planning Analytics to join their IT team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled professional to design and implement advanced TM1 solutions, enabling swift and informed decision-making through comprehensive analytics.
The position is based in Secaucus, NJ, offering a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
IBM TM1 Development
Architect and develop solutions using IBM Planning Analytics Advanced Local (version 2.0.9.17), with a strong emphasis on Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) integration.
Design and implement multidimensional TM1 cubes, views, dimensions, active forms, and Turbo Integrator processes.
Create batch scripts, shell scripts, and TI processes to automate schedules, manage Cognos TM1 services, and publish data for web applications.
Develop TM1 rules, feeders, and custom drill-throughs while optimizing performance and troubleshooting issues.
Stay current with updates and enhancements to TM1 and PAW, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
SDLC & Technical Implementation
Lead major projects through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)-requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Develop comprehensive programming specifications, technical documentation, and end-user training materials.
Production Support
Ensure 24/7 application availability, including night-batch support and issue resolution.
Perform application upgrades, archive management, and performance optimizations.
Provide cross-functional team training and technical support for integrated software systems, including Oracle EBS and third-party applications.
Qualifications
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent training and experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience in TM1 design, architecture, and development, focusing on Corporate Performance Management, Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Supply Chain solutions.
Proficiency with IBM TM1 Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE), including:
TM1 model development (cubes, dimensions, rules, feeders, TI processes).
Automation of data processes and TM1 services using batch and shell scripts.
User-friendly dashboards and interactive reporting.
Technical Skills
Oracle Database (19.12), SQL, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Toad, and CRON.
Linux and PowerShell scripting, web server management, and Windows services.
Strong project management capabilities (e.g., MS Project, PowerPoint).
Background in finance and business analytics.
Preferred Qualifications
IBM TM1 Planning Analytics Developer Certification.
PMI Certification or equivalent project management credentials.
Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (12.2.10+), Manhattan Scale WMS, and Quebit Report WORQ.
Full-stack web development skills (HTML, JavaScript, XML, CSS, IIS, jQuery).
