Position Overview:
As a Donor Relations Associate, you'll play a key role in fostering relationships with major donors and foundations, supporting fundraising campaigns, and overseeing donor-focused events. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about nonprofit development, with a knack for organization and a collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities Include:
Major Donor Support & Stewardship:
Coordinate communication and events for major donors, ensuring meaningful engagement and recognition.
Proposal & Report Development:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to draft compelling donor proposals and impact reports.
Community Giving & Campaigns:
Manage workplace giving initiatives, community partnerships, and annual fundraising events such as Giving Tuesday.
Event Coordination:
Assist in planning and executing donor events, both virtual and in-person, ensuring smooth logistics and exceptional experiences.
Travel Coordination:
Facilitate high-level travel arrangements for donor visits, liaising with Central American staff and managing logistics.
Administrative Support:
Organize files, maintain donor records, and assist with budget management to streamline fundraising activities.
Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to adapt to new software quickly.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality work.
Customer-focused mindset with experience in donor relations or event management preferred.
