We are seeking a highly experienced Senior EHR Application Project Manager to lead the migration and implementation of a large-scale EHR (Electronic Health Record) application within a complex organizational structure. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional project management skills, technical expertise, and proven experience in EHR applications, data migration, and stakeholder communication. The position involves leading multiple projects, developing and managing detailed project plans, documenting risks and contingency strategies, and overseeing migration strategies and implementation processes while collaborating with business owners, IT teams, and vendors. Responsibilities include managing staff to support data migration, workflows, and SDLC artifact development; conducting workflow analyses, data mapping, and data cleaning; preparing and presenting concise reports and status updates; facilitating communication between stakeholders to align with project goals; mediating between IT, business teams, and vendors to resolve issues; and leveraging project management tools like MS Project, Excel, Visio, and Jira to ensure seamless execution. Regular project team status meetings and updates to leadership and stakeholders are essential to the role, emphasizing strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience managing multiple complex projects, including EHR application implementations. • Proven expertise in:
o Database technologies (e.g., InterSystems Caché Database, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server).
o Project management tools (MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, Jira).
o Developing SDLC artifacts, workflow analysis, and application migration. • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems, prioritize tasks, and prepare detailed reports. • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to inspire collaboration among diverse teams. • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and status updates. • Hands-on experience in application migration, data mapping, and data cleaning. • Ability to act as a liaison between IT, business, and vendors, addressing vendor queries and resolving challenges.
