Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cloud Database Engineer III for a permanent role working onsite with a company in Monroe, WI.
Job Description:
As a Cloud Database Engineer III, you will be responsible for the setup and on-going health of relational and non-relational databases within the company. You must have advanced experience working with open systems infrastructure, Windows and Linux servers, and MSSQL and MySQL databases. In this position, it is critical to have a passion for cloud database engineering and a focus on growth and improvement as we continue to modernize our systems.
Responsibilities:
Installing and maintaining database software
Installing and testing upgrades and patches
Building database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions
Designing and documenting database architecture
Developing database utilities and automated reporting
Analyzing and sustaining capacity and performance requirements
Qualifications:
5+ years of DBA / Architecture or open systems administration experience
MySQL and SQL DBA skills
Cloud experience (AWS & AWS Aurora very nice to have)
Postgres (very nice to have)
