Title: Data Center Support Tech
Location: Canton, MS (onsite 5 days/week)
Duration: 9-month contract w/ possible extensions or conversions
Shift: 4 days/week. 10 hour shifts. Mix of day/night shifts!
Interview process: 1 round. 30 minute Chime call
Must Haves:
High School Diploma or equivalent degree/education
1+ year of experience in any of the following or similar technical or vocational roles:
Data Center Operations, IT support, Help Desk, IT Troubleshooting, IT/Technical Repairs, Networking
Great attitude and willingness to learn - team player!
Ability to work flexible shifts and work an occasional on-call rotation.
Plusses:
Experience working in a Data Center environment
Basic understanding of computer repairs, network protocols, storage devices, troubleshooting
Military experience
Ticketing system experience

A client of Insight Global is looking for support technicians to join their growing data center team. The ideal candidate will be someone that shows up, works hard, and adds value to the team culture. Day to day the candidate will participate in the pulling and resolving of technical tickets. They will work hands on in server rooms and on physical hardware. This role will play a crucial role in keeping data center operations on pace.
