SLS is seeking a Lighting Control Quotations Coordinator. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned projects while communicating with manufacturers and senior staff to ensure completion within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints. This ideal candidate will possess the ability to keep pace with growth, while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven, ambitious environment. Key Requirements: • Entry Level (1-3 years of relatable work experience. Electrical design knowledge is a plus) • AutoCAD software experience • Ability to read architectural/electrical design documents • Proficient in Data Entry • Superior Customer Service Skills • Self-starter & able to manage multiple tasks • Team oriented • Work seamlessly with upper management Responsibilities: • Manage lighting control quote requests during the design, bidding, and construction phases. • Distribute quote requests amongst themselves and the entire NJ quote controls team. • Complete lighting control layouts/takeoffs utilizing our manufacturers' products. • Interpret the specified lighting design system and ensure takeoffs meet the desired control functionality. • Develop project-specific lighting control submittal packages including wiring diagrams. • Communicate with clients professionally and respond to all inquiries promptly. • Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client. • Ensure that projects are managed to the correct quality standards and are completed efficiently, on time and to budget.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred but not required, demonstrable experience acceptable. • 1-3 years of relevant work experience (task-specific training will be provided). • General knowledge of the design and construction phases. • General knowledge of lighting and lighting control design. • Strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills. • Organized and accustomed to a demanding workload and schedule. • Ability to manage multiple project inquiries concurrently. • Highly self-motivated, proactive individual with robust interpersonal skills. • AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office suite skills.
