We are Seeking a Construction Estimator to join a dynamic team in South Portland, ME. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Estimator who can play a crucial role in preparing hard bids for new projects as well as ensuring cost control measures are being met, while comprehending preconstruction schematic designs.

Responsibilities
Developing project schedules and timelines
Analyze and review construction plans, documents and specs to build scope of work, costs and contracts
Conduct analysis of drawings and specifications.
Work with project managers to understand and execute change order requests
Conduct quality take-offs from drawings.
Prepare proposals.
Prepare preliminary construction budgets.
Prepare bid packages.
Review plans and issue RFIs.
Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to request bids/quotes.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field
Previous commercial construction and full time estimating experience on projects $20 million and higher needed
Strong computer skills (Sage preferred, Revit a plus)
